Who We’re Looking For

We’ve developed a groundbreaking iOS app. Now, we need an exceptional Android app developer to take the helm and help us complete our partly finished Android app to bring our vision to the Google Play Store. In addition to assisting in getting our MVP across the finish line, you’ll remain on the team to help us ideate and implement new features and product tests while we validate our product-market fit.

What You Can Expect

This is a contract position, initially. However, the opportunity for advancement and growth alongside us is high. We’re just getting started, and if you connect with us, movement to a full-time position and an elevated position is certainly available. You’ll be free to work remotely at a schedule that fits your needs as long as deadlines (that we’ll agree upon mutually) are met.

Responsibilities

• Take over the development of our existing Android app (written in Kotlin) and bring it to completion for launch.
• Work closely with our team to ensure feature parity with our iOS app (written in Swift).
• Collaborate with our designers to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Maintain clear and honest communication with the team, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Android app development using Kotlin.
• Familiarity with iOS development and the ability to understand and replicate iOS app features on Android.
• Experience with AWS and setting up scalable backend solutions is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• A keen eye for design and attention to detail.
• Passionate about making a difference in the addiction recovery space.

Compensation

$55.00-$70.00 per hour for the six month contract, dependent on qualifications.
